This project started with me wanting to draw a birthday card to my friend the night before her birthday. I wasn’t happy with it just being a pencil drawing — it needed colour. Then I thought I might try drawing in Photoshop with a digital drawing tablet. I’ve just recently been starting to spend a little time playing around with it. After printing it out I even glued on some wobbly eyes. This card turned out much better then I’ve would have thought. My friend who got it for her birthday loved it so much that she put in an order for more of them.
I really enjoyed making the cards, so I decided to make more. Here are some pictures of the process:
