This is an illustration I made for a Facebook group I joined a short while ago. It is a group where Illustrators can chat and share their work. We also get weekly prompts and ideas of what to draw. This is an illustration I made from one of those prompts. We only got that one sentence and we were supposed to choose out character(s) ourselves. I got a little help from my partner who chose for me. He wanted to give me a challenge and told me to draw a homeless man. I also made a story about the homeless man Sammy who was longing for snow because he was planning to build himself an igloo to live in. Since this was an idea for a children’s book, I also gave him some animal friends such as rats and pigeons. I haven’t gotten around to finishing more than one illustration however. Work and other art projects I feel more passionate about got in the way.
